Tensions run high in DR Congo's remote Minembwe district

A small, isolated pocket of land has found itself the focus of tensions in DR Congo. On September 28, the installation of a mayor in the district of Minembwe, in the eastern province of South Kivu, sparked an outcry in the country and sent shockwaves all the way to the top.
