Tell us: have you been stuck on a UK train recently?

Thousands of people in London were trapped on trains on Thursday evening due to damaged power lines. Affected lines included the Elizabeth line, Heathrow Express and Great Western Railway (GWR), with around seven trains stranded and passengers stuck for more than three hours in the dark.

In November, hundreds of passengers were stuck onboard a Eurostar train at Folkestone for more than seven hours with no access to food or working toilets. It had been on its way to Amsterdam from Kings Cross, St Pancras.

If you have been stuck on a train in the UK recently, we’d like to hear from you. What was your experience like? How did it affect your plans and were you offered compensation?
