Two teenagers have been charged after police shot at a stolen car that was allegedly being driven dangerously at officers.
Police say they tracked the vehicle in Brisbane's west after it was stolen from an Ashgrove address on Tuesday.
However when they tried to intercept it, police said the vehicle drove dangerously at officers.
"This resulted in an officer presenting and discharging his service firearm at the vehicle," police said.
The vehicle was later located abandoned nearby in Toowong.
Four people, who police allege were in the vehicle, were taken into custody a short time later.
Police have since charged a 17-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl with a string of offences.
The boy's charges include dangerous operation and unlawful use of a motor vehicle as well as unsupervised driving.
The girl's charges include three counts enter premises and commit an indictable offence and one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
Police said the incident was being investigated by Ethical Standards Command and subject to oversight by the Crime and Corruption Commission.
