Teenager denies drink-driving on electric scooter in Nottingham

A 19-year-old has denied drink-driving on an electric scooter in Waverley Street, Arboretum.

Max Hinds-Foster, of Gill Street South, Nottingham city, entered his not guilty plea at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on Wednesday (June 16).

The offence was allegedly in Waverley Street on March 18 this year.

The court hear Hinds-Foster was driving the electric powered scooter when he had 70 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, over the limit of 35.

He confirmed his name, date of birth and address to the court.

His case was adjourned for trial before the same court on November 2 at 10am. He was granted unconditional bail.
