Teenage boy bottled and attacked by two men at railway station

An appeal has been launched after a teenage boy was bottled and attacked by two men at a railway station.

The victim had travelled on board the last service from Manchester to Crewe.

He was hit with a bottle, punched and kicked by the pair when the train arrived at the station.  

British Transport Police are asking anyone who saw the incident, which happened at 1.15am on Sunday, December 8.

It’s understood there may have been an altercation between the victim and the two men on the train prior to it arriving at the station.

Officers have identified the suspects, however they wish to speak to anyone who witnessed the attack to help establish the full circumstances behind the incident, and progress the investigation.

Any witnesses are asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40.

In both cases, quote reference number 66 of 08/12/19.
