Tech & Science Daily: Terrifier 2 producer on ‘vomit-inducing’ horror

An executive producer from the horror movie Terrifier 2 has likened watching the movie with riding a rollercoaster.

The film has gained popularity after reports of people throwing up and fainting in cinemas while watching it.

Steve Barton spoke to Tech & Science Daily about the movie, reactions, and why people enjoy the horror genre.

TikTok is introducing an adults-only option for live streams.

TikTok said some content can be unsuitable for minors, such as some comedy routines or when a host wants to discuss a “difficult life experience”.

Activision has filed a patent for new AI tech that could generate music for some of its games.

The description of the patent said that by using artificial intelligence an “infinite combination of music and audio can be automatically generated to avoid having to manually create music and audio”.

A recent study by the University of York suggests we can both increase and decrease the ability to recall specific memories by playing sounds when a person is asleep.

It’s hoped that one day the process can be manipulated so that sleep could be used to help weaken painful memories.
