Success! Musk’s monster SpaceX Starship Mars shuttle makes vertical landing

SpaceX’s Starship SN15 has successfully managed to take off and land, vertically.

During a test in Boca Chica, the rocket reached about six miles up before dropping back down to the ground, and using its thruster for a controlled ‘belly flop’ descent and flip to touch back down.

Elon Musk believes the 50m-tall Starship will get people to Mars, eventually sitting on top of a booster called Super Heavy.
