'Tears of joy': Indian cricket stars celebrate Ayodhya's Ram Temple opening after Pran Pratishtha ceremony

NEW DELHI: As the doors of Ayodhya's Ram Temple swung open following the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony, members of the Indian cricket fraternity took to social media to express their joy and extend congratulations on this historic occasion.

Star spinner Kuldeep Yadav shared an image of Shri Ram Lalla with the caption "It is a wonderful and glorious moment to witness this moment! Jai Shri Ram."

Legendary batter VVS Laxman posted an image with the caption "Tears of joy and hearts brimming with devotion and joy. Siyavar Ramchandra ji ki Jai, Jai Shree Ram."

Gautam Gambhir hailed the omnipresence of Lord Ram, while Ravi Shastri marveled at the stunning Mandir.

Harbhajan Singh mentioned that the day would be etched in golden letters in history, and Suresh Raina wished for divine blessings.

Mithali Raj, who attended the ceremony, shared enchanting images of the temple.

The 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony featured petals showered on the temple from army choppers. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing the dignitaries, highlighted the temple's significance as a symbol of peace, patience, harmony, and integration.

The unveiling of the Ram Lalla idol marked a moment of triumph and humility, testifying to a renewed national consciousness of Lord Ram's role in everyday life.
