A school teacher has revealed some of the secret codes staff use to discuss children and one is frequently written on homework.
The educator shared her industry knowledge on social media, admitting that she and her colleagues will write 'EBI' on assignments, which has a secret meaning, the The Mirror reports.
In a video shared to TikTok, @missfrankie1 explained the codes to her non-teacher pal Zoe, saying that they help them communicate better without the children's knowledge.
According to Miss Frankie, EBI is just one of the many codes that teachers use to talk about the little ones, with others including KCSIE and WWW - and all have been explained below.
In the clip which has racked up more than 100,000 views, she tested her friend, a midwife, to see if she could crack the codes.
She captioned the video: "Seeing if my friend knows teacher terminology."
In the clip, she said: "Okay, I'm a primary school teacher and Zoe's a midwife. So I'm going to ask her what some of these acronyms mean that I use in work."
She then started with the term LO, which means learning objectives, then she moved on to PP/FSM, and she explained this means 'pupil premium' and 'free school meals'.
She continued: "If I honour a child's work when I'm marking it, I will put an EBI and a WWW."
Miss Frankie then explained that EBI stands for 'even better if' and WWW stands for 'what went well'.
