Taylor Swift's Eras Tour to be streamed with three extra songs

As anticipated by fans, Taylor Swift revealed on Monday morning that the Eras Tour movie will be available for streaming on December 13 in addition to three extra songs from the tour.

The three songs are Wildest Dreams, The Archer and Long Live, which will be available to rent on demand.

The news was released the morning following Swift's Sunday night performance in Brazil, which marked the end of her 2023 tour.

The 33-year-old singer disclosed the news on Instagram, saying: "Well, so, basically I have a birthday coming up and I was thinking a fun way to celebrate the year we’ve had together would be to make The Eras Tour Concert Film available for you to watch at home!” she wrote on her social media accounts.

“Very happy to be able to tell you that the extended version of the film including ‘Wildest Dreams,’ ‘The Archer’ and ‘Long Live’ will be available to rent on demand in the US, Canada & additional countries to be announced soon starting on … you guessed it, December 13.”

She has not yet disclosed which foreign countries would receive the streaming release.

The providers whose logos can be seen on Swift's website and which are offering the movie for rent on December 13 are YouTube, Xfinity, Apple TV, Vudu, Prime Video, and Xfinity.

When the movie was previously teased, several fans were upset that some songs from the tour's set list had been left out. However, many of these fans were right when they assumed that the 2h45min film would be extended when it was released for home viewing.

With an opening figure of 1.6 million album-equivalent units, the best for any album in eight years, 1989 (Taylor's Version), the most recent in her series of album re-recordings, had the best first-week sales in her career.

The Eras Tour will return to Tokyo Dome in Japan on February 7, 2024 for a four-night engagement.
