Roby spent the past two seasons with the Saints, and his signing could signal James Bradberry returning to the outside cornerback spot or Josh Jobe seeing fewer snaps.

Roby has 11 career interceptions including three returned for touchdowns.
Roby bring experience and versatility
The former Ohio State cornerback has played in 126 NFL games with 60 starts and has played in the slot, and on the outside.
Roby can be a stabilizing force
The injury to Maddox threw things off, but once Roby gets into game shape, the Eagles’ secondary will round back into form, with personnel playing in preferred spots.
Bradberry has played in the slot the last two games, and although Bradberry excelled, Jobe showed that he’s not quite ready for primetime in the overtime win to Washington.
Philadelphia has Super Bowl aspirations, and Jobe’s development, along with Mario Goodrich’s and Eli Ricks’s will have to wait.
