Taapsee Pannu-Mathias Boe's colourful and funky haldi ceremony pics drop online

Nearly a month after their secret wedding in Udaipur, fans of Taapsee Pannu are getting to feast their eyes on some images from the big day.

The wedding planners who helped the actress as a personal touch to her wedding day to her badminton player boyfriend, Mathias Boe, shared a series of pictures and never-before-seen videos from the Haldi prep.

Going by the visuals, the deco for the wedding ceremonies featured a blend of Bollywood glamour and a sporty badminton vibe, that reflected the unique personalities of the bride and groom. Breaking away from conventional marigold decor, the haldi ceremony embraced quirky personalization, featuring custom-illustrated blocks portraying the couple, traditional Indian art mingled with disco balls, and shuttlecocks painted with flowers. The venue was adorned with funky centrepieces, also featured a colourful lounge seating, and a floral-laden throne, creating a whimsical ambience.

In a statement, the creative team behind the colourful affair remarked, "The haldi was a delightful blend of culture, minimalism, and oodles of fun! Taapsee’s infectious quirky vibe mixed with Mathias’s sporty badminton charm created a vibrant yet classy ambience."

They added, "Designed with their fun-loving personalities and unique professions in mind, every corner is bursting with energy and excitement!"

Taapsee opted for an intimate celebration, ditching the extravagant Bollywood parties in favour of close just friends and family on the guest list. Notable attendees from the film industry included her "Thappad" co-star Pavail Gulati, actor Abhilash Thapliyal, and writer Kanika Dhillon. Joining the festivities were badminton players Satwiksai Raj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty, who received training from Mathias, adding to the charm of the occasion.
