Swansea City's end-of-season awards in full as long-serving star and departing ace win big prizes

Jay Fulton and Ryan Manning were the big winners after scooping the top prizes as Swansea City's end-of-season awards ceremony.

Midfielder Fulton has enjoyed an excellent campaign having fought his way back into Russell Martin's plans. And little more than a month after signing a new contract with the club, Fulton earned Swansea's Players’ Player of the Season award.

As for Manning - who is expected to leave south Wales when his deal expires in the summer - he has excelled on the left flank, with the Republic of Ireland man clinching the Supporters’ Player of the season prize following a campaign in which he has netted five goals and registered nine league assists.

Nathan Wood was named Best Newcomer of the Season following his stunning impact since joining on a permanent deal from Championship rivals Middlesbrough last summer while Joel Piroe took home the Top Goalscorer of the Season prize as a result of his 19-goal haul in all competitions this term.

Ben Cabango's dramatic 99th minute winner against Cardiff City in April earned the Welshman the Goal of the Season award, as voted for by fans in attendance at the club's awards ceremony.

Defender Jessica Williams was named Swansea City Ladies Supporters' Player of the Season while Monet Legall was awarded the Best Newcomer of the Season award.

Stacey John-Davis and Katy Hosford took the Swansea City Ladies Top Goalscorers award while Carolyn Harris MP won the Community Champion award.

Meanwhile, Wales Under-21 international Joel Cotterill was named Academy Player of the Season while Joe Thomas scooped the Under-21s Player of the Season prize.

Welsh football legend Brian Flynn earned the Lifetime Achievement award as a result of his remarkable contributions to the club while Jon Grey - who recently ended his lengthy association with the Swans to take up a role at the FAW - won the prestigious Alan Curtis Award.
