A search is underway for a dark coloured Ford Territory SUV after its driver allegedly forced another vehicle off the road in the Molonglo Valley on Monday.
The driver collided with a silver Holden Barina, puncturing a tyre and causing damage to its left side, after allegedly tailgating the vehicle on William Hovell Drive.
Police said the Ford Territory was observed driving behind the Holden, before switching lanes to drive beside it and then forcing it off the road.
The driver of the Barina was able to stop the vehicle on the median strip before the incident became more serious.
Police are seeking any witnesses who may have been on William Hovell Drive at about 3.55pm on Monday.
