Dionne Warwick has voiced her support for Britney Spears and called for her to be freed from her conservatorship.
The legendary singer said Britney had endured "13 years of bondage" under the conservatorship, which she has lived under since 2008 and means her father Jamie Spears and a wealth management firm controls her finances and personal affairs.
Last week, Britney spoke in court to call for her dad to be removed from the conservatorship, saying the order has seen her forced into taking lithium, using contraception against her will and stopped her from having any more children or getting married.
Her testimony caused outrage across the world as fans called for Britney to be released from the conservatorship.
Taking to Twitter, Dionne sent her love to Britney and said she should have her freedom back in an emotional video.
Speaking directly to the camera, Britney said: "I just felt compelled to say just a few words, and I'm not gonna be very long, it's gonna be very brief.
"My heart goes out to Britney Spears, it really does, I feel her pain.
"How in the world could anyone endure what she has been enduring?
"13 years of bondage - this is exactly what it is.
"Who, what, when, where, how and whys, not giving her an opportunity to express that on her own.
"Do you realise the amount of work this young lady puts in to bring you joy?
"Remembering all those words to the songs she has to sing, the combination of the dances she has to do, getting up at the crack of dawn to do exercises getting her body and keeping it in shape, to make you feel good.
"And what is it that we feel she is not able to have that kind of joy and feel good to herself?
"How fair is that? Bondage is not something 2021 should even recognise.
"She has the wherewithal which should want to live how she wants to live, where she wants to live and with whom she wants to live.
"Give her back her rights, give her back her life — set her free. Yes."
Dionne then spoke directly to Britney, saying: "Britney, I feel your pain, baby, and I totally agree.
"Yes, enough. It is enough. May God continue to bless and smile upon you, and give you the wherewithal and strength to continue to fight for your freedom."

This week Britney's request to have her father removed from her conservatorship was denied.
Britney had said she had been forced to perform when she wasn't feeling up to it, made to work seven days a week and said she hadn't spoken about the order out of embarrassment.
After his daughter's appearance in court, Jamie said in a statement: "He is sorry to see his daughter suffering and in so much pain. Mr Spears loves his daughter very much."
