Kimmy Schmidt, if you think about it, has a lot in common with Buddy the Elf. Judging by the trailer for the second series of Unbreakable…, the commonalities are about to increase: Kimmy appears to get a job as an elf in a year-round Christmas store. But now is not the time to think about how millennial fictional characters are perfect for each other. Now is the time to think about jumpers. Kimmy demonstrated her power with a cheery knit in the first series of this Tina Fey-penned sitcom and they appear to be just as strong this time around. The yellow knit here is a nose-runningly spicy mustard yellow, and the herringbone pattern is part Orla Kiely preppy, part new Gucci retro. If her penchant for wearing a handbag cross body is yet to be ironed out by Titus et al, Kimmy is leading in knits. That much is unbreakable.
