If you own a gaming PC, chances are it cost less than $3,000, but if you’ve wondered what you could buy if you had another $10,000 to spend then keep reading as the Polaris MK2, made by champion overclocker 8Pack and retailer Overclockers UK costs $13,000.

There’s clearly a huge amount of customization going on here and you’re getting far more than just off-the-shelf liquid cooling components, but the hardware is important too and it certainly packs a punch.
You get a pair of Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB graphics cards and both are liquid-cooled of course. With gaming being the primary focus of the PC, clock speed is fairly important and the PC includes a Core i9-7920X, which has been overclocked to 4.7GHz across all of its 12 cores.

This also means that the PC would be an awesomely fast workstation as well as a gaming rig. You also get a massive 64GB of 3200MHz memory, two 1TB Samsung 960 Pro NVMe M.2 SSDs and an Asus Rampage VI Extreme motherboard. This is all powered by a 1600W power supply and housed in a Lian Li custom V300WX case.

The cooling system sports a two separate loops – each with its own pump, radiators and reservoirs – one to cool the processor and the other to cool the two graphics cards in SLI.

The plates have been created using CNC machining that Overclockers UK claims results in a better finish than laser cutting and has also found a way to eliminate unsightly rubber o-rings from the plates too.
The specification is clearly enviable, but the company will tailor-make your PC to include even more powerful components as well as your own choice of coolant and cable colors. You can see more of the stunning Polaris MK2 over at Overclockers UK.
