Student party descends into chaos when gatecrashers start fight and floor teen

A brave teen floored in a "vicious unprovoked" attack while trying to stop gatecrashers at a student party has been praised by police for his courage.

Footage shows the moment the young man is knocked to the ground as he attempts to confront the violent and uninvited guests at a gathering in Fallowfield, Manchester.

Revellers can also be heard shouting, screaming and laughing as the victim is punched by two people in the crammed house, full of around 90 people, reports the Manchester Evening News.

One teen excitedly yells 'that's what I'm talking about' as he walks away after punching the teen during the mayhem, while a second starts dancing.

Trouble flared when a 'number of' uninvited guests arrived at the party on October 22 and began causing a disturbance.

A bin was thrown through a window, before a fire extinguisher was set off.

Police said a teenage boy was the victim of a "vicious unprovoked" attack when he tried to evict the gatecrashers from the house.

"We know that there was approximately ninety people in attendance at this party."

A GMP spokeswoman confirmed that no arrests had been made as of Monday.
