Stuart Findlay interests Hibs as Jack Ross eyes Premiership return transfer for Philadelphia Union defender

Hibs are interested in bringing Stuart Findlay back to the Scottish Premiership from Philadelphia Union.

Record Sport understands Jack Ross is keen on the former Kilmarnock defender.

The 26-year-old Scotland international made the move to Major League Soccer from Rugby Park in February.

But he has struggled for regular first-team football and now finds himself on Ross’ defensive radar.

Findlay signed a two year deal with an option of a third with Union but could be persuaded to come back to the Premiership, even to get games in the short-term.

Hibs chief executive Ben Kensell has already said their transfer activity in the last window wasn’t good enough and it has to be improved in January.

Hibs signed Nathan Woods on loan from Middlesbrough but Ross wants more backline options and Findlay is at the top of his list.

The Easter Road club will also be looking to add to their striking option and US international winger Chris Mueller will be arriving on a freedom of contract from Orlando City.
