Strictly's Will Bayley shares emotional photos and cryptic message amid quitting rumours

Will Bayley has shared a number of emotional photos with professional dancer Janette Manrara ahead of rumours he will be forced to quit the show.

The Paralympian was unable to perform on Saturday due to a nasty knee injury and his future on the show is still "hanging in the balance", with reports that his exit could be announced tonight.

Amid rumours that his chances of returning are "less than slim", Will took to social media to share a number of photos with pro Janette with some uplifting messages.

He shared a photo of himself yesterday with himself linking arms with Janette and holding a Strictly water bottle as they both grinned.

Will captioned it: "Smile through it all!"

At the weekend, he tweeted a picture of himself holding up a fake Glitterball trophy, writing with a heart emoji: "Good times."

This also comes as a number of other pros suffer injuries, including Katya and Neil Jones.

Alex Scott has been training with Kevin Clifton this week after dancing with him Saturday, in lieu of pro Neil.

A source told The Sun : "Will is devastated as he’s put everything into the series and a freak injury looks like it may well be the end of the road for him.

"He’s got a final consultation today and that could be it."

They also claimed that Will had already had a number of appointments with physios and doctors but the longer he is out of training the less likely it is that he will return.

Will and Janette were given a bye last Saturday after he was unable to perform, but Strictly rules dictate that each couple are only allowed one free pass in the competition due to injury or illness.

The insider added: "There are quite a few on the treatment table at the moment so producers are hoping there are some quick recoveries, particularly with Katya and Neil.

"In an ideal world they will both be able to shake off their knocks in time for the weekend so that Alex and Mike are not left needing stand-in professionals.”

Mirror TV has reached out to the BBC for comment.
