The 50-year-old star wowed fans in a black velvet midi dress with long puffy sleeves and figure-flattering runching along the front.
The simple outfit, available to buy from lORANE for £510, was completed with scrappy nude heels and simple jewellery.
Tess opted to keep her blonde hair in loose curls pulled back into a low ponytail, with the style perfect for showing off the square neckline of her dress.
Complementing the glam look, Tess wore gold eyeshadow, thick black mascara and a sweep of blusher along her cheeks for a soft glow.
The stunning Strictly host took to Instagram to thank her glam squad, writing: “Results show time @bbcstrictly… Did you SEE the opening number by our amazing professional dancers? Co-host Claudia Winkleman looked equally glamorous in a sparkling dark grey dress, complete with thigh-high split.
