Strictly's Molly Rainford's two word response to result clocked by fans left angry on her behalf

Molly Rainford was spotted giving a relieved and gracious response to this week's Strictly Come Dancing result, after being saved again, as fans were left angry at her being condemned to the dance-off for a fourth time.

Molly, the youngest of this year's Strictly contestants is well known to CBBC viewers for being intergalactic pop star Nova Jones and has also appeared on rival channel ITV as an act on Britain's Got Talent. Molly and pro partner Carlos Gu had the job of getting Friday night's quarter final off to a good start, as they opened proceedings with their Charleston to Chicago anthem Hot Honey Rag.

The couple lit up the ballroom with their performance and blew the Strictly judges away, so much so that they ended up getting their highest score of the series to date, 38 out of 40. However, their joy turned to an all too familiar heartache once again as Molly and Carlos landed in the bottom two for a fourth time.

This week it was Kym Marsh and Graziano Di Prima who they had to compete against to stay in the competition and this week's Strictly result went right to the wire as, after Craig Revel-Horwood and Motsi Mabuse both gave their votes to Molly and Carlos, Anton Du Beke forced Shirley Ballas into action by saving their rivals.

Head judge Shirley used her casting vote to keep Molly and Carlos in and, right after the camera went to Kym as she grabbed Graziano for a hug, Molly was seen mouthing "thank you" in the direction of the judging panel, presumably at Shirley, given it was her decision that ultimately kept her in.

While Molly appeared to take the disappointment of another dance-off in her stride, many Strictly fans were angry on her behalf. Taking to Twitter, one blasted: "How the heck is Molly in dance-off? What is the public voting for if not brilliant dancing and performance??" Equally annoyed, a second tweeted: "Beyond shocked about Molly being in the dance-off. Thought she delivered not only her best performance last night but one of the best Charlestons ever. Should be nowhere near the dance-off."
