Strictly odds claim 'writing is on wall' for Sara and Aljaz despite them never being in dance-off

While they have yet to even be land in the dance-off, two different bookies have made Sara Davies and Aljaz Škorjanec the hot favourites to get the boot from Strictly Come Dancing this weekend.

Dragon's Den star Sara and former Strictly winner Aljaz have cemented themselves as firm favourites with viewers since the new series got going at the end of September.

After a rocky start which saw her finish near the bottom of the Strictly leaderboard for her cha cha cha, Sara had a huge turnaround in week two, which saw her earn a huge score.

The County Durham entrepreneur and pro partner Aljaz were riding high again after their tango earned them their highest score of the series.

And, following a blip on Halloween Week, when they finished rock bottom despite giving their all in their Couple's Choice, Sara and Aljaz had a real return to form last week when their quickstep to 9 to 5 got them a score of 33 out of 40.

But, despite their impressive showing last weekend and the fact they've yet to drop into the bottom two, both Betfair and William Hill are tipping them to leave.

Betfair have them at 2/1 to go and William Hall at 6/4.

Strictly elimination odds

Sara Davies: 6/4

Dan Walker: 2/1

Tilly Ramsay: 11/4

Rhys Stevenson: 6/1

Tom Fletcher :8/1

John Whaite: 33/1

AJ Odudu: 80/1

Rose Ayling-Ellis: 125/1

Rupert Adams, Spokesperson for William Hill, said: “Sara Davies is our current favourite to leave Strictly this week at odds of 6/4, but it’s not a full gone conclusion by any means.

“Dan Walker controversially avoided another dance off last week, which might affect his chances of making it through week 8, and he is just 2/1 to leave.”
