Strictly host Rylan Clark 'told off' for staring at Fleur East's 'distracting' body

Strictly Come Dancing’s Rylan Clark joked he has been given a telling off by show staff after staring at star Fleur East’s hips.

Rylan helmed another instalment of the nightly spin-off show It Takes Two on BBC Two when he made the racy confession to Fleur and her professional dance partner Vito Coppola.

The X Factor alum sat down with the Celebrity Gogglebox star on Wednesday evening, after she landed in the dreaded dance-off on Sunday night.

Yet the pair managed to survive the head to head, as the celebrity ballroom competition saw EastEnders star James Bye and his partner Amy Dowden go home.

Commenting on their routine, Rylan said: “It was such a high-octane dance. Were you surprised, Vito, at how well she just kept going?”

Vito replied: “No, I was not surprised, because I mean, have you seen how she shakes her hips?”

Rylan fired back: “Well, I have! But I’ve been told not to look any more!”

Shortly afterwards, Vito couldn’t help but comment on the ‘dangerous’ lifts he and Fleur tried out, which the judges noticed.

He explained: “The lifts were quite dangerous. But she was just on fire. She needs to trust me.

“Just jump up, I can handle you! But she just did everything herself, hooked her leg around my neck! It’s my job to lead, but…”

Rylan quipped: “But she’s done it! Said, ‘do you know what, her thighs are wrapped around my head, I’m just going to let it happen!’”

This comes after Rylan asked eliminated star James about what was going through his mind when the Strictly lights went red on him and he was confirmed for the dance-off.

He said: “It’s up there with one of the worst experiences of my life, especially when you know you’ve got to go against Fleur East.

“She knows what she’s doing. She’s very, very good and I love her to bits. It's horrible to then feel like I’m competing with someone who I’ve got really close with, who I know is such a lovely person and I know I’m going to go.”

The EastEnders star then went on to praise his professional dance partner Amy as ‘what Strictly is all about’.

He said: “I have never worked with anybody in any line of work I’ve ever had who loves their job as much as Amy does. She is absolutely obsessed with it.”

The dance pro then started to tear up beside him as he waxed lyrical and put his arm around her shoulders.
