Strictly fan slammed for reaction to Rose and Giovanni silent routine

Strictly Come Dancing tour goers have slammed fellow audience members who shouted out during the silent section of Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice’s routine.

The much anticipated tour kicked off in Birmingham last week and during a performance in the city event-goers told on Instagram how the iconic dance routine was disturbed.

Strictly's 2021 winners Rose and Giovani were clearly the favourites in the tour line-up and were first to stepped onto the floor with their steamy Argentine tango.

But it was later in the night, when wowing with a live version of their breath-taking, stunning couple's choice routine, to Symphony, which attracted unwanted audience disturbance.

One tour goer told: "Was a great show tonight. A shame someone in audience shouted out during the silent part of the dance"

Another simply said: "morons!"

“I have a feeling they’ll have a better chance in London," said Lisa.

A fourth summed up the sentiment adding: "agree was a couple of them who couldn't contain their excitement!"

But no mention of the interruptions was made by the judges as Craig Revel Horwood said: "Absolutely wonderful - I love love loved it."

Another event goer added: "Just came back from seeing you in Birmingham wow what a great night! Fab ul ous Darlings."

And the show was even signed by a registered British Sign Language (BSL) Interpreter, making this the biggest ever BSL accessible arena tour in the UK.

Other couples signing up for this year's tour saw a number of 2020 performers take to the stage due to Covid restrictions forcing a tour year absence to the events.

Max George was instead joined the 2022 tour, paired up with pro Katya Jones and other notable switches saw 2020 contestant Maisie Smith paired up with Kai Widdrington.

The tour line up for 2022 includes: Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice, Maisie Smith and Kai Widdrington, John Whaite and Johannes Radebe, Sara Davies and Aljaz Skorjanec, Max George and Katya Jones, Rhys Stephenson and Nancy Xu, Nadiya Bychkova, Janette Manrara, Neil Jones (David Fisher/REX/Shutterstock)

A last minute switch up for Tilly Ramsay after Nikita tested positive for Covid with pro Neil Jones stepping into his place at the final hour.

The show also featured some stunning group dance including the magical routine to Taylor Swift's Lover and Love Story, which any Strictly fan will remember from the 2021 series.
