Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special line-up: TV presenter Rosie Ramsey follows husband Chris' dance steps

Taking to the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas dancefloor is podcaster and TV presenter Rosie Ramsey. She will be following in the footsteps of her husband Chris Ramsey who competed in the show in 2019 as she takes part in the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special 2022.

The Christmas special will air on Christmas Day, with no air time confirmed yet, and Rosie will be partnered with professional dancer Neil Jones. The normal judges, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Head Judge Shirley Ballas will return to help decide who lifts the coveted Strictly Come Dancing Christmas trophy.

Speaking about going on the show, Rosie said: "I am thrilled to be dancing in this year’s Strictly Christmas special! After watching my husband Chris compete a few years ago, I’ve been desperate to get on that dance floor myself! I also absolutely LOVE Christmas, and my partner Neil is lovely, so this is just perfect. Best. Christmas. Ever!"

Rosie and her husband Chris shot to fame with their Shagged. Married. Annoyed podcast, which they began in 2019. The couple now have their own TV show The Chris & Rosie Ramsey Show which will be returning for a second series on BBC Two in 2023.

While on the show they chat with other couples about married life, their relationship and funny stories. Rosie's other on-screen credits include interviewing WWE Superstar John Cena and Hollywood actress Leslie Mann while on The Chris Ramsey show which was aired on Comedy Central.

Rosie and Chris have been married since 2014 and they met as teenagers. The couple have two sons together, Robin and Rafe, and Rosie has spoken about her experience of suffering a miscarriage before having Rafe in January 2021. Chris made it to the semi-finals, finishing fourth with partner Karen Hauer in 2019, while on Strictly Come Dancing and Rosie will be hoping to dance to the same tune as his success and claim the Christmas glitterball trophy.
