The Gallowgate has been closed this morning following a incident on the east end road.
Emergency services are currently in attendance at the scene and the road is closed westbound between Fielden Street and Abercromby Street.
A police diversion is in place and drivers have been warned to expect delays and avoid the area if possible.
A Glasgow City Council statement reads: "Due to a Road Traffic Incident, Gallowgate has been closed (Westbound) between Fielden Street and Abercromby Street. Delays should be expected."
It is not currently known how long the closure will be in place.
