Streaming platform Recast partner with SuperCupNI for ten game broadcast plan

Football fans from across the world will be able to witness the next generation of stars at the 40th anniversary of the SuperCupNI.

The organisers behind the tournament have confirmed that ten matches in total will be streamed live across the world, thanks to an innovative partnership with streaming platform Recast and broadcasters Wyzcom from Dundonald.

SuperCupNI chairman Victor Leonard said it has never been easier to watch some of the future stars of the game at the tournament.

“The tournament is always so well supported across each of the venues and over the last number of years we have realised that there is a significant demand for live streaming and on demand match content," he said.

“Our media team is often inundated with messages from parents, family members and supporters of the various clubs from across the world, who are keen to follow the tournament from the comfort of their own home.

“We have no doubt with the popularity and the global fanbase of Manchester United and Liverpool, that it should generate a lot of interest in the tournament, particularly given the likes of Marcus Rashford and Trent Alexander Arnold have starred in the tournament in recent years!”

Ten matches in total will be live, with each of the six Elite matches featuring Manchester United, Liverpool, Valencia and Hertha Berlin streamed and the Minor, Junior and Premier section finals of the boys competition will be streamed alongside the Premier girls’ final.

Each of the games will be expertly captured by Wyzcom and will have commentary teams in place to provide their thoughts and analysis.

Viewers from across the world, who are unable to watch the games live, will also be able to watch the matches on demand at their own leisure and this should prove popular over the duration of the tournament.

The games will be hosted by Recast, an innovative streaming platform who work with a range of high profile clubs including Manchester City, Inter Milan and Queen’s Park Rangers.

The matches will be priced at £5 per game for each live stream, £3 to purchase the game on demand and there will be a SuperCupNI channel pass option for £25, which will allow fans to avail of all of the SuperCupNI live games and other content for 7 days from sign up.

Football fans can sign up at recast.tv/SuperCupNI and upon sign up they will receive 25 free Cast Credits. Cast Credits are Recast’s unique in-platform currency and content is priced from just 1 Cast per minute (which is equal to 1p per minute).
