A mum-of-four has thanked a kind stranger who saved the day when a tyre blew out on her car.
Megan-Louise Prescott was on her way to the cinema with her three daughters, Aurora, six, Arabella, four, and two-year-old Ariana, to watch the new Barbie movie when her tyre ran flat on Formby Bypass.
The Southport mum managed to pull over onto the pavement, with a car full of upset girls fearing they would miss the movie.

Megan-Louise - who is also mum to seven-year-old Noah - then went to get the spare wheel out the boot when a man pulled up on the pavement next to her and asked if she wanted him to change the tyre for her.
She told the ECHO : "We were just driving down the Formby Bypass to go to the cinema and I had my three daughters and their friend in the car and my tyre just burst so I had to pull over.
"I got my spare wheel out the car and when I turned round a man had pulled up and he asked me if I wanted him to change it. So I said yes please!"
The student mental health nurse managed to make her film, all thanks to the kind stranger who pulled over and helped.
She said: "I was made up you know, I couldn't believe he pulled over. Loads of people just drove past and didn't even look.
"It was scary, and the kids were frightened as well because they're only young."
Megan-Louise thinks the person who helped her was called Chris Tobin.
She said: "I think his name is Chris Tobin but I'm not 100%. I think he owns the scaffolding company. I would just like to say to him thank you so much for helping us."
