PGA golf events have “Moving Day,” the Saturday at a tournament where, after the cut has been made, players move around the leader board and get in position for a final Sunday charge.
Unfortunately for many of the upper-tier quarterbacks for the next NFL draft, today was less of a moving day, and more of a Shaky Saturday. Players like Kenny Pickett, Matt Corral and Sam Howell had some uneven performances as their teams fell.
It was not all bad. Carson Strong showcased his arm talent in a win over UNLV, and Malik Willis did the same in a victory over Massachusetts. Still, those came against teams with woeful records.
