Steve Kerr Encourages Bryce Harper To Sign With the San Francisco Giants

Given how harshly the NBA is punishing tampering these days, Steve Kerr might be getting a call from…someone.

After his Golden State Warriors beat the Miami Heat Sunday night, Kerr put on his general manager hat and tried to help lure Bryce Harper to the Bay Area.

Here’s what Kerr had to say:

“It could be fun. I’d love it if Bryce Harper came here. Does my opinion matter? Bryce, come to the Giants! Let’s go. Is that true? Is that going around? Kind of? It’s exciting.”

Harper is reportedly being pursued by the Washington Nationals, Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago White Sox and San Diego Padres.

During the 2018 season, Harper hit .249, with a .393 on-base percentage and .496 slugging percentage, with 34 home runs and 100 RBIs.
