Bindi Irwin has posted a heartbreaking tribute to her dad Steve on what would have been his 58th birthday.
The conservationist, 21, posted an adorable throwback picture of the two of them smiling and laughing.
In a post on Instagram, she said she misses and loves him “beyond description”.
Bindi described how she devoted the day to him. She wrote: “Dad, Today is your birthday. I had an extra strong cup of tea just how you liked it.
“I hugged Mum for you and told her how much we love her.

“Robert and I went on a hike through the mountains you cherished.
“I watched one of your documentaries with Chandler and shared stories about you.
“I walked through your office in the zoo and smiled at our old family photographs.
“Today and every day I miss you and love you beyond description. You’re always with me.”

It’s been 13 years since the daughter of the late zookeeper lost her dad after he was pierced in the chest by a stingray barb while filming a wildlife documentary in 2006.
The TV personality, known for his brave nature by taking on snakes, crocodiles and sharks, was filming on the Great Barrier Reef in north Queensland when the tragic incident happened.
His wife Terri, 54, took to Twitter on today to join her daughter in posting an emotional tribute.
While Terri said she still 'aches' for her husband of 14 years, she was determined to celebrate the things he loved most - his children and Australia Zoo.
“Today would’ve been Steve’s 58th birthday. While my heart aches missing him every day, I’m determined to celebrate what he loved the most,” she wrote.

“He was my best friend, best dad, & built the best Zoo. I love you.”
The mum-of-two included four photos of the Steve, who died when he was just 44-years-old.
Bindi, 21, and her fiancé Chandler Powell, 23, are currently busy planning their lavish wedding, which is set to take place at Australia Zoo later this year.
Bindi announced her engagement to her childhood sweetheart at her 21st birthday party in July last year.
She revealed the happy news in an emotional post on social media.
The couple plan to wed at Australia Zoo, first set up by Bindi's grandparents, and made famous by Steve.
Bindi also hinted that the animals the family adore will also be a huge part of the ceremony, and she will be holding a koala instead of the traditional flower bouquet, and she has talked about how important it was to honour her dad on the day.
Steve’s 16-year-old son also paid homage to his environmentalist father.
Robert shared a black and white photograph on Twitter and Instagram of himself with his dad, sister and mum.
The picture, which the teenaged wildlife photographer captioned “Family Always”, shows the family-of-four on a rocky landscape.
