BBC Radio 4’s The Media Show will have a guest presenter for its first 2015 outing on Wednesday, with Andrea Catherwood revealing on Twitter that she’d landed the gig.
Looking forward to presenting @BBCRadio4 Media Show tomorrow standing in for @steve_hewlett. Lining up a right royal debate.

As eagle-eyed readers may summise from Catherwood’s tweet, the regular host’s absence is not entirely unrelated to the BBC’s decision to postpone its TV documentary about royal spin tactics presented by ... Steve Hewlett.
Monkey understands Hewlett has recused himself from the show, which will feature an item about the postponement of Reinventing the Royals – following an intervention from lawyers representing Prince Charles – as one of its items of discussion.
Judging by the picture on The Media Show’s web page, it will also feature the Prince Andrew story.
Monkey trusts there will be no further recusals of Hewlett, a MediaGuardian columnist, from the presenter’s chair, although there is still no official word from the BBC on when Reinventing the Royals will run.
