Stephen A. Smith and Terrell Owens are fighting on social media

Stephen A. Smith has had his fair share of battles with athletes, and another one has resurfaced.

NFL Hall of Famer Terrell Owens replied to the "First Take" hosts latest comments surrounding the ouster of Max Kellerman, with Owens taking the side of Smith's ex-debate partner.

Owens simply tweeted "FACTS!!!!!!!!!" on Sept. 15 while quoting another tweet that linked to his appearance on "First Take" in 2019 when Kellerman was still on the show with Smith.

"Max almost seems Blacker than you, Stephen A," the six-time Pro Bowler said.

Owens was provoked to tweet after Smith previously responded to a tweet that said he did not like Max Kellerman.

"Same question, Same answer for damn-near two years now: Max & I weren’t working in the end. I wanted to win. So I didn’t want that duo. Does mean he’s isn’t smart, talented and that he’s not a good guy. I have nothing against him. I wish him well. Just needed a change. That’s all," Smith said.

Smith responded to Owens' tweet by saying that his issue with him was completely separate with what happened with Kellerman. He claims he knows something about Owens, and seemed to insinuate that he has done some negative things to other Black men.

He followed up and said that he may decide to let out some of the information he knows about Owens on "The Stephen A. Smith" show on Sept. 18.

More Stephen A. Smith:

Owens responded by telling Smith not to "stand down" and to "keep that same energy" when the two see each other next.
"You see I’m not intimidated by you because you have a platform and a loud mouth to claim that that you’re going to allegedly expose me about something . It seems to me that you’re the one being exposed. Please EXPOSE ME! Let us know what you got. I, along with everyone else will be waiting."

Owens sent out a few more tweets where he said he's "not afraid" of what Smith might say and that he's waiting to see what Smith says in order to "increase the ratings on his show."
