Steph Curry barely falls to Joe Harris in the 3-point contest

Steph Curry had a great showing, but unfortunately lost in this year’s NBA 3-point contest to Brooklyn’s Joe Harris.

In the first round, Steph Curry got off to a decent start, but staggered a bit during the center rack, making just two of the five. Needing to finish strong to move onto the final round, Curry didn’t just do enough to make it through, he hit every shot on the last two racks, including all five of the money balls to give him the best score, 27, of the first round.

Joe Harris and Buddy Hield also had incredible first rounds and joined Steph in the final round. Seth Curry, who many were rooting for to join Steph in the final, finished with 17 and was eliminated. Devin Booker, who won last year’s 3-point contest, finished strong making all five on his money ball rack, but his score of 23 just missed the cut and he was also eliminated.

In the second round, Curry got off to a great start, knocking down his first nine shots, but he lost steam during the 3rd and 4th racks before making four of the five shots on the money rack. Steph needed all five to force a tiebreaker, but missed the 3rd to seal the win for Harris.
