Thankfully, the Pittsburgh Steelers are going into their first game of the season fairly healthy. But unfortunately, it seems Pittsburgh might be minus one of their best defensive backs against the New England Patriots.
Friday is the day to decide if a player can participate for head coach Mike Tomlin and starting free safety Sean Daivs was listed as DNP as he continues to heal from his ankle injury. On the official injury report Davis is listed as doubtful.
If Davis cannot go, look for Kam Kelly to get his first NFL start. Kelly played for a short period in the now-defunct AAF before signing with Pittsburgh.
