Steelers make multiple front office moves official

It seems that all the news around the Pittsburgh Steelers since the NFL draft has centered around the front office. On Friday, the Steelers made three moves official in the front office and we now have the official titles for several hires.

Andy Weidl is officially the assistant general manager. This is after the Steelers promoted Omar Khan to general manager. Weidl comes over to the Steelers from the Philadelphia Eagles.

In addition, the Steelers hired Sheldon White as the head of pro scouting, replacing Brandon Hunt and Dan Colbert was promoted to be the head of college scouting. Colbert is the son of outgoing general manager Kevin Colbert. The team hasn’t announced officially what the elder Colbert’s role will be with the team now that he’s no longer the general manager.
