Stacey Solomon fears needing to ask workmen for lift if she goes into labour amid fuel crisis

Stacey Solomon fears she might not be able to do school runsdue to the fuel crisis - and might need to ask workmen at her home for a lift to the hospital if she goes into labour.

The Loose Women presenter, like most of the UK, is having to rethink her normal routine in the light of the fuel crisis,

Stacey was reluctant to join the petrol panic buyers over the weekend as she wanted to support keyworkers who really needed fuel.

However she has now admitted she left herself short.

Stacey Solomon tells fans about her petrol shortage (@staceysolomon)

She told fans on her Instagram: "School run done.

"Also I didn't rush out at the weekend to get petrol because the government were saying keyworkers who had patients and people to visit weren't able to get there because everyone was panic buying.

"So I thought I'd wait until it calmed down but now none of our garages are open.

"But I'm still glad I didn't get any and I'm sure it'll be back soon, so they'll have to get the bus or go with aunty Jemma, who cleverly has an electric car."

Stacey's fiance Joe Swash ended up taking their children to school by campervan because 'He's the only one with fuel left!' she said.

Stacey, who is heavily pregnant also said she might need a lift to hospital from the tradesman working at her home if she ends up going into labour.
