Stacey Solomon fans shocked how much son Rex has grown as he's dubbed Joe Swash's double

Stacey Solomon's fans couldn't get over how much her son Rex has grown as they dubbed the three-year-old his dad's double.

Rex was the star of the show as he posed for photos outside Pickle Cottage over Easter, but some fans thought he 'looked like a teenager'.

Taking to Twitter, commenting on the snaps in which Rex beamed alongside sisters Belle and Rose, one person said: "I'm sorry, but when did Rex get so grown up? I remember when he was a tiny baby... now he is a big boy."

Another mused: "Oh my gosh Rex looks like he needs to start paying rent!! When did he grow up?!"

While a third noted: "Rex looks so much like his dad now. He looks like a teenager!"

Rex's dad, EastEnders star Joe Swash, took his son for his first hair cut in January.

Stacey broke down in tears after revealing Rex wanted his long blonde curls cropped, so he could look more like his brother, Zachary.

Stacey revealed Rex’s new look on Instagram, after she took him on a trip to the hairdressers, but admitted she was left devastated by the trim.

Sharing a picture of her youngest son with his new hairdo, she wrote: “Rex’s Big Boy Haircut.

“Today we went for our usual barber trip with the boys but this time Rex asked for “A Zachy (big brother) Haircut” instead of his usual “Thor hair” request.

“Me & Joe may have shed a tear (crying laughing emoji) But we’ve always said it’s his hair, his choice. You look so handsome Rexy we love you so so much. Our big boy (crying emoji).”

The Solomon Swash family enjoyed some fun in the sun in Abu Dhabi earlier this month on what was their first trip abroad as a family of seven.

Stacey posted a flurry of gorgeous pics of her kids, including one of Rex and Bose having a cuddle with their mum on the beach.

However, the Sort Your Life Out star admitted she was wary about chronicling her trip in light of the cost of living crisis.

Responding to one fan who said "love seeing all the content", a relieved Stacey wrote: "I worry so much sharing sometimes because I know it’s really s**t out there for lots of people & holidays are super expensive & lots of people are unable to go.

"So I’d never want to make anyone feel rubbish. But all of your lovely messages have just made me so happy and so glad I shared it all with you guys."
