Stacey Solomon asks 'am I having a midlife crisis?' as she makes big decision

Stacey Solomon took to Instagram to ask fans for their advice as she wondered 'am I having a midlife crisis?'. The 33-year-old mother-of-five was having a quiet moment at home with her baby girl Belle when she started wondering if she should get a permanent inking tribute to her brood.

The Loose Women panellist and Sort Your Life Out presenter cradled Belle as she declared in an Instagram Stories video: "So Rose and Rex are at Auntie Gemma's so me and Bella we're having a quiet Friday night laying on the sofa and I think I want a tattoo."

Stacey then asked her fans: "Am I having a midlife crisis? Is it my hormones?" And she wondered: "Is it weird to get a tattoo in your 30s? I think I really want one. I've never had one before."

Stacey, who welcomed Belle in February with her TV presenter and former EastEnders actor husband Joe Swash, was curious to know if any of her followers also have tattoos in their thirties. She asked: "Have any of you got tattoos late on in life?"

She continued: "Not that I'm later on in life, you know what I mean. Most people get them when they're really young. Will I regret it?"

Stacey, who also has a daughter Rose born in October 2021 and a son Rex born in May 2019 with Joe, says she'd like all the kids names written in hebrew 'somewhere on my body.' The star, who shot to fame on the X Factor in 2010, also has older sons Zachary, 15, and Leighton, 10.

She told fans that her hubby also has inkings, which he never shows. "Joe's got two tattoos but never gets them out," she said as her man could be heard joining in the chat in the background. One on the back and the hip."

Stacey then provided an update to say supporters had convinced her to go for it. "Time to slep for two hours," she wrote alongside a beaming photo of herself and Joe with Belle. " I think I'm going to do it. You've all convinced me to just go for it. Tattoo pending."
