Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash discuss fourth baby plans after intimate sex life confession

Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash have talked about whether they will have a fourth child.

They share Rex, five, Rose, three, and Belle, two, while Solomon also has sons Zachary, 17, and Leighton, 12, from previous relationships and Swash is father to Harry, 17, with his ex.

During the final episode of their BBC reality show Stacey & Joe on Tuesday, the Loose Women panellist, 35, and EastEnders actor, 42, looked back on their year together.

"Next year is the year of enlightenment for me, I'm going to find out who Joe Swash really is,” Swash remarked.

Solomon replied, "That's exciting, babe,” and Swash added jokingly: “Or maybe we can make another kid next year."

Solomon laughed as she shut him down, quipping: "I don't think so. I don't think we had sex in 2024. We haven't seen each other."

The credits then rolled, informing viewers that they’ll be invited back to the couple’s home, Pickle Cottage, for a second series.

While the first series has mainly been a hit with viewers at home, it’s been reported that Solomon regrets allowing cameras into their family life.

Solomon and Swash have been open about sharing their problems with viewers, with one episode showing their couples counselling session and another seeing Swash struggle with his ADHD diagnosis.

Some viewers called Swash a “liability” after an episode saw him leave Solomon in the lurch after returning from a fishing trip five hours late while she attempted to conduct a business meeting at home and deal with her crying kids.

Amid the negative reaction, Solomon is reportedly having second thoughts about agreeing to do the show and fears she’s coming across “too bossy”.

“Stacey is regretting signing up to do the show. She’s not used to the backlash they are getting as everything she touches normally turns to gold,” a source told The Sun.

The insider claimed Solomon is worried about how she and Swash are coming across to viewers in their arguments, with her love of organisation clashing with his time management issues and ADHD struggles.

“She feels like she is coming across as bossy. He can’t manage anything without her, so she is forced to be the ‘grown up’. It’s caused friction,” the source said.

The Standard contacted the couple’s representatives for comment at the time.
