Presenter Stacey Dooley admitted she hated an iconic character - while interviewing the actor who plays him.
EastEnders: Secrets from the Square is presented by the Strictly Come Dancing star and features two actors from Albert Square who take her behind the scenes of their biggest storylines each week.
In tonight's visit to EastEnders, Stacey was joined by Max Bowden and Tony Clay to talk all things Ben Mitchell and Callum Highway - better known to fans as Ballum.
The pair reflected on classic scenes together and shared their best backstage stories.
But popular presenter Stacey told actor Max Bowden, who is the latest actor to play long-running character Ben Mitchell, that she "hates" him.
Stacey said: "I hate Ben Mitchell."
Actor Max said he felt a lot of Ben's decisions were frustrating and agreed he was a difficult character but added he "understands" him.
Ben has become an important character among the LGBTQ+ community, and more recently, the deaf community.
Max revealed Ben has spent lockdown with Phil, Lexi and Lola - not with Callum.
Though he did add Ben's father, Phil, was "at risk" due to having had a liver transplant.
The fate of Ben and Callum's relationship is not yet known, with viewers keen for the long-running soap to return to screens.
The programme also delved into the EastEnders archives for a look at the pioneering LGBTQ+ characters that paved the way, from Colin and Barry to Binnie and Della and Christian and Syed.
