St Pauls Carnival has kicked off in style today (July 6).
Feathery headdresses, drummers, DJs, extravagant outfits and people of all ages have come out in force.

One of the most striking images so far shows a green 508 bus, in honour of the Bristol Bus Boycott of 1963.
The protest overturned a ban on ethnic minorities working on Bristol's buses.
