St Mirren have completed a transfer deadline day move for Dan Nlundulu.
The Paisley club have added to their attacking options before the 11pm deadline with the Bolton Wanderers forward agreeing one-year deal.
Stephen Robinson was keen to bolster his squad in the forward areas to replace the pace and power offered by Toyosi Olusanya, who left for Houston Dynamo last season and is now on loan at Doncaster Rovers.
Nlundulu, 26, played for Chelsea and Southampton as a youth player before spells with Lincoln, Cheltenham, Bolton and Cambridge.
The forward signed a permanent deal at Bolton in January 2023 for a £250k fee. He spent last season on loan at Cambridge United where he played 30 times, scoring five goals.
Former Bolton boss Ian Evatt, who signed Nlundulu, previously boldly compared the striker to Ivan Toney.
“This is a massive comparison but I see him as an Ivan Toney type," said Evatt. "He can have a similar journey, he just needs coaching and some time.
"Given that, I think we can make him into a real player."

Meanwhile, Oisin Smyth joined Partick Thistle on loan from St Mirren.
The midfielder left the SMiSA Stadium for regular game time with the Championship club. The Paisley side have the option to recall Smyth in January.
Robinson had admitted St Mirren would have to move one player on in order to make room in the budget to sign a striker.
Smyth had slipped down the pecking order in Paisley with Killian Phillips, Mark O'Hara and Keanu Baccus the preferred trio in midfield.
Liam Donnelly is set to return from injury after the international break to add to the midfield options, with Fraser Taylor competing for first-team minutes.
Alex Gogic has also featured in a deeper midfield role this season, with Roland Idowu also capable in the centre of the park when required.
