Squid Game creator Hwang Dong-hyuk has confirmed the hit show will be back for more after season one breaks streaming records.
The smash hit Korean drama will be returning after leaving fans frustrated with an intense cliff-hanger at the end of season one, and we are dying to know what Gi-Hun will do next.
Netflix saw record breaking numbers of viewers watching the nine-part gritty drama, attracting over 111 million viewers according to the streaming platform.
The show's creator told Associated Press: "So, there's been so much pressure, so much demand, and so much love for a second season. So I almost feel like you leave us no choice."

"But, I will say there will indeed be a second season. It's in my head right now. I'm in the planning process currently.
"But I do think it's too early to say when and how that's going to happen."
Fans did speculate based on the ending of the first season there would be a second and previously the creator had teased hopes of a second series while chatting to media in the UK.
He told the Guardian: "That's inevitable because it's been such a success. I am considering it.
"I have a very high-level picture in my mind, but I'm not going to work on it straight away.
"There's a film I really want to make. I'm thinking about which to do first. I'm going to talk to Netflix."
The first season of Squid Game is still streaming on Netflix.
