Spider-Man: Brand New Day is now out in theaters (in some parts of the world, at least), and sees Peter Parker swing his way back into the MCU after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home. Tom Holland, Zendaya and Jacob Batalon return, alongside Punisher star Jon Bernthal and the Hulk himself, Mark Ruffalo. And now that we've seen the movie, we even know who Sadie Sink is playing, and the identity of the film's mysterious villain.
Given this is a Marvel movie, you're no doubt expecting a post-credits scene or two. Bonus scenes before, during and/or after the credits are commonplace for MCU movies, but you probably want to know if you need to stick around until the theater staff descends to sweep up the dropped popcorn.

Yes, Spider-Man: Brand New Day does have a post-credits scene. But only one, and you have to wait for the very end of the credits to see it, so stay put till lights up! We've got the full details below, but be warned: this is where we start getting into spoiler territory.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day post-credits scene explained
The Spider-Man: Brand New Day post-credits scene gives us a pretty big clue about Spidey's MCU future. The brief scene doesn't feature a single actor, but instead unfolds in the Spidey tracker's UI. Initially zoomed in on New York, the tracker suddenly announces 'location unknown' after seemingly losing track of Spider-Man.
As the tracker zooms further and further out, it's still unable to detect Spider-Man. Eventually, the tracker zooms so far out that it seems Spider-Man is no longer on Earth. As the tracker pans right, it finally locates Spider-Man… in deep space. Cut to a stark title card: Spider-Man Will Return.
Firstly, that title card is noteworthy for what it doesn't say, namely, return in which movie? In all likelihood, this information has been omitted to preserve a surprise cameo in Avengers: Doomsday, or an unannounced role in Avengers: Secret Wars. It could also mean – heaven forbid – that we won't see Tom Holland's Spider-Man again until his next solo outing, post-Secret Wars.
It's not clear how the Spidey Tracker works exactly (user-generated sightings? DNA sniffers?), but as for the deep space of it all, there are a few explanations. The most likely is that the scene is directly setting up Avengers: Secret Wars, and Spidey has been transported to Battleworld. In the comics, Battleworld is a patchwork planet created by Doctor Doom from the remnants of other worlds after the multiverse is destroyed, so it would be a break from comics canon for Battleworld to exist within Earth-616, as it traditionally exists in a whole new reality.
The second explanation is that another Spider-Man has arrived in a spaceship from a different universe. As we know from the Thunderbolts post-credits scene, the Fantastic Four will be doing exactly that in Avengers: Doomsday. Could this extend to other Spider-Men as well, including Miles Morales?
The final possibility is that the Spidey tracker has detected a symbiote that has already bonded with a Spider-Man and is currently on its way to Earth. However, this doesn't explain why Spider-Man can no longer be located in New York. The only theory that accounts for Spidey's disappearance from New York is that he's been transported somewhere.
