Fireworks filled the Nottingham skyline as part of the celebrations held for the city's annual Riverside Festival.
Dazzling colours illuminated the River Trent on Saturday, August 3, as scores of festival-goers gathered to watch the highlight of the annual event.
The free festival takes place every year on the Victoria Embankment and this year's fireworks display didn't seem to disappoint, with many taking to social media to share their shots of the show.
Earlier in the day, crowds continued to descend on the embankment to sample some of the wide variety of food stalls on offer from Yorkshire pudding wraps to authentic Indian cuisine.
There was also a wide variety of entertainment on offer including live music and helter skelters.
