Kelvingrove bandstand's first drag performance will take place this autumn, in partnership with Pride Glasgow.
Hosted by the legendary Cheri Treiffel and featuring the best the Glasgow drag scene has to offer such as Garry King, Rujazzle, Skinny Minnie, Bonnie Banks, Geezah and more. The performance, which will take place on September 3, is part of The Big Weekend- a two day community festival on Kelvin Way this September.

As well as acting as a fundraiser for The Big Weekend Free festival- a portion of proceeds will go to LGBT Youth Scotland.
The festival has a programme full of free, accessible community and family focused events and activities both in the bandstand itself and along the closed Kelvin Way, with the drag show being one of the only paid for events.
