'Special one' - Nottingham Forest fans hail key figure in QPR draw

Midfielder Jack Colback struck late to claim a point for Nottingham Forest by ensuring a 1-1 draw at QPR.

But while Reds fans were quick to jump on social media to hail a key figure in the game, it was not the 32-year-old midfielder.

Head coach Steve Cooper has certainly revitalised the club after claiming 14 points from his seven games in charge, and it was the Welshman that fans praised after the Reds late, late show on Friday night.

"Love this bloke," a supporter said on Twitter.

"Love Steve and his style of attacking football. It's what we have missed for ages," another added.

Here is the rest of the reaction...

Arron Wright: "He loves the fans just as much as the team, which [previous manager Chris] Houghton was missing."

Tim Shipman: "God I love this bloke. He's found home... I think."

Emilio Pastore: "I think I'm in love."

Bevan boy: "Love Stevie Cooper. He's a red and hates Derby."

Reslipper: "Special one."

Dave: "It's a special manager that has arrived at the world famous City Ground."

Andy Leech: "Breathe of fresh air since Steve has taken over. Actually enjoy watching Forest again."

Kevin Marriott: "What an appointment he's turning out to be."
