'Spain's second team!' - Chelsea and Man United fans react as David De Gea starts in goal

Spain are in action again this evening (Sunday), but there is no place in the starting line-up for Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Instead, Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea is starting for Robert Moreno's side as they take on Faroe Islands in their latest European Championships qualifier.

This is the first time in five international matches that De Gea has started for Spain, with the Chelsea goalkeeper being preferred in recent times.

Kepa Arrizabalaga has said there is no issue between himself and David de Gea as the pair battle for the Spain number one spot, despite the fact he has been picked ahead of him in each of the last four international fixtures, prior to tonight's match.

The Manchester United stopper had been seen as the long-term replacement for Iker Casillas for the Spanish national side, but his position as the first-choice keeper for the national team has been questioned following a poor World Cup campaign last summer as well as making a number of high-profile errors last season.

However, he is back in the side this evening for Spain, which has prompted a reaction from both Chelsea and Manchester United fans on social media.

Here's what fans of both clubs have been saying about the team selection for the game.
